HIPOCRISIA POLÍTICO MUNDIAL?

Há um silêncio perturbador da comunidade internacional, neste preciso momento, sobre o que tem estado a acontecer na Guiné-Bissau, desde o fim do mandato de Sissoco Embaló, no dia 27 de fevereiro deste ano. Trata-se de uma estratégia mundial respaldada, como sempre, no princípio fundamental do direito internacional que estabelece que os Estados não devem interferir nos assuntos internos de outros Estados. Mas, imaginemos, que o que tem estado a acontecer estivesse relacionado com levantamento militar ou golpe de Estado, eles manteriam em silêncio? Não, todos esses estados se lançariam para as restrições internacionais ou acção de retaliação, a fim de salvaguardar seus interesses.

 

WORLD POLITICAL HYPOCRISY?

There is a disturbing silence from the international community, at this very moment, about what has been happening in Guinea-Bissau since the end of Sissoco Embaló's term on February 27 of this year. This is a global strategy supported, as always, by the fundamental principle of international law that states that States should not interfere in the internal affairs of other States. But, let's imagine that what has been happening was related to a military uprising or coup d'état, would they remain silent? No, all these States would resort to international restrictions or retaliatory action in order to safeguard their interests.
