BISSAU: GOLPE DE ESTADO NA ANP

Desde o dia 23 de Setembro a GNR e a Polícia de Ordem Pública têm estado a ocupar militarmente o Palácio Colinas de Boé. Mudaram os cadeados e as fechaduras das portas dos gabinetes e colocaram ilegalmente um novo Presidente da ANP, na pessoa da deputada Adja Satu Camará.

Este acto de usurpação dos poderes do Presidente da Assembleia Nacional Popular, como questiona o analisa Rui Jorge Semedo, indicam que as eleições, provavelmente, não serão justas e transparentes.

BISSAU: COUP OF STATE AT ANP

Since September 23rd, the GNR and the Public Order Police have been militarily occupying the Colinas de Boé Palace. They changed the padlocks and locks on the office doors and illegally installed a new President of the ANP, in the person of deputy Adja Satu Camará.

This act of usurpation of the powers of the President of the National Popular Assembly, as questioned by Rui Jorge Semedo, indicates that the elections will probably not be fair and transparent.
